Quokka Education is seeking confident and adaptable Sports Coaches to step into exciting Cover Supervisor roles within our partner secondary schools in Basingstoke. These are long-term and permanent opportunities, with start dates from May and September 2025.
Whether you're an aspiring PE teacher or a graduate with a passion for sport, if you bring a positive attitude and a willingness to learn, we want to hear from you!
No teaching experience? No worries!
We provide full support, including free online courses and taster days to help you enter the classroom with confidence and enthusiasm.
This is a fantastic opportunity if you're:
- Considering a career in teaching and want classroom experience
- A recent sports graduate or qualified coach
- Looking to make a meaningful impact in education
What You'll Be Doing:
- Supervising students in the absence of teachers, keeping lessons on track
- Delivering pre-planned PE and general cover lessons (no planning or marking required!)
- Encouraging a positive and focused classroom environment
- Bringing energy and adaptability to various subjects and school settings
Who We're Looking For:
- Sports Coaches or sports-related degree holders
- Graduates and aspiring PE teachers
- Adaptable, resilient individuals ready for a new challenge
- People with strong communication skills and a proactive mindset
