Licenced Aircraft Engineer - Contract or Permanent
This company is seeking experienced Licenced Aircraft Engineers to join their growing team at their Manchester Airport location. As a Licenced Aircraft Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing the company's fleet of commercial aircraft, ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
The requirement is for 777. However, if you are out of recency or do not have the type there is an opportunity to undertake type training held on 2nd June with a bond attached. The role can be either contract or permanent.
The Licenced Aircraft Engineer will be responsible for performing maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) tasks on customer aircraft, including scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. You will be required to certify maintenance within the scope of the company's approvals and provide leadership and supervision to aircraft mechanics and support staff.
To be successful in this role, you must possess a Part 66 CAA License, B1, and have previous experience in Base Maintenance. The ideal candidate will be adaptable to a dynamic, fast-paced environment with changing requirements, and possess strong interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills. A full UK Driving License is also essential.
