About this opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Cloud and External networks CNS support team. This dynamic team is dedicated to providing critical protection to the banks internal and external DNS platform. The banks DNS/DHCP & IPAM platform is hosted on Infoblox technologies. As a technician within this team, you'll be a key person for supporting and developing the platform, dealing with everyday activities as well as delivering on project demands.

What you'll do

  • Manage and support Infoblox DDI infrastructure (DNS, DHCP, IPAM).

  • Design and implement DDI configurations globally.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve DDI issues with internal teams and vendors.

  • Maintain DNS zone files and DHCP scopes.

  • Ensure compliance with change management and security policies.

  • Collaborate with network, security, and server teams.

  • Provide Tier 2/3 support and participate in on-call rotation.

  • Document configurations and procedures.

  • Implement DNS security measures and best practices.

  • Monitor and improve DDI infrastructure performance.

  • Support cloud platform integrations.

What you'll need

  • Solid experience of supporting and delivering changes on the Bank's DNS, DHCP and IPAM Tooling

  • In depth knowledge of Networking and Security implementation

  • Demonstrable experience of vendor management

  • Experience of delivering complex changes to meet tight scales

  • Experience of capacity management

  • You'll also need to be somebody who can lead a project and people, juggle multiple priorities and focuses on what is important to get the right outcome.

It would be great if you also had

  • A broad understanding of all modern networking components such as F5, Firewalls etc.

  • Experience of cloud infrastructure in Azure, GCP and other Public Cloud Provider experience is a plus

  • JIRA/Confluence and knowledge of ServiceNow - Incident, Change and Problem Management
