Calderdale Council is transforming the way it delivers its Early Help services making this an exciting and challenging time to come and join us. The successful candidate will initiate and lead the strategic vision and further development of Early Help Pathway throughout the borough.
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, capable and flexible individual with a high level of autonomy who possesses excellent organisational and decision-making skills. As a member of the Early Help Service; you will work with partners across the borough supporting them to initiate Early Help Pathways, facilitating child and family meetings and coordinating the response to families.. You will support partners and professionals to ensure the correct interventions are in place at the right time to achieve improved outcomes for children, young people and families.
The successful candidate will need knowledge of Early Help, an understanding of the needs of children and families as well as experience of undertaking assessments and working across agencies and professional boundaries. The ideal candidate will be able to prioritise their own workload whilst working as part of a very busy team. The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines is essential as are excellent communication and customer care skills.

Applicants to posts that are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act will require a DBS from the Disclosure and Barring Service before the appointment is confirmed.
