Summary
SCHOOL CARETAKER
Permanent 15 hours a week , 3 hours per day across the two school sites. Term Time +4 weeks.

MONDAY – FRIDAY 7:00 – 10:00
We are two small rural primary schools situated in the villages of Rockland St Mary and Surlingham, Norfolk, which are a 6-minute drive away from each other. Rockland St Mary Primary School also has a Nursery School on site. We are a wonderful community of staff, pupils and parents; we pride ourselves on our welcoming and warm approach. Our strong leadership team and nurturing approach was recognised by Ofsted in our last inspections where both schools were rated as ‘Good’ in all aspects. We are passionate about creating meaningful enrichment activities for our children and providing them with a wonderful life-long memories. Our children are happy and love their schools.
The Role
The school caretaker will report into the headteacher and office manager and is responsible for the following; security management of both school sites, maintaining the school buildings and the surrounding outdoor areas, ensure all furniture, fittings and outdoor play equipment is safe and up to HSE standards, upkeep of school appearance both inside and outside.
Job activities are divided into the following categories: Site and Security, Preparing Facilities, Maintenance and Repairs and Monitoring Work.
Applicants will be considered to work in both current vacancies of cleaner and caretaker.
