Summary of the role The position holder is responsible for the account management & direct sales responsibility for all packaging top customers within the area North east England & ScotlandRole and Responsibilities Maintain all packaging customers within designated territory with aim to grow revenue year on year as per the company NBS guidelines & expectationsIncrease system population through pro-active value selling activities within new, existing & competitive accountsWork to recapitalize existing Nordson installed base through pro-active focus on customers with inefficient & obsolete equipmentIntroduce, promote & up-sell latest range of Nordson equipment to all customersDevelop Aftermarket business with aim to grow spare parts revenue stream including maintenance contracts, training & engineering workGain firm knowledge of territory through courtesy calls & liaison with Engineering teamGenerate strong working relationships with adhesive suppliers & transfer knowledgeSkills and Qualifications Good all round education with knowledge of engineering, sales & marketingStrong commercial & sales skills with ability to communicate with customers at all levelsValid clean driving licenseFluent English language skills are mandatoryCapable of working independently using own initiative or be a member of a teamAbility to be flexible in day to day duties & willing to stay away overnight where requiredTravel Yes, 80% of the time, only within northern England and ScotlandBenefits We offer a flexible work schedule, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for growth and development.
