Summary

Could you be the person who helps turn a young persons worry into confidenceand their potential into progress? As an Emotional Wellbeing Practitioner, youll be doing work that mattersevery single day. Youll support children, young people and families across Wakefield with early help for low-level mental health and emotional wellbeing concerns, offering practical, goal-focused support that builds confidence, self-awareness and resilience. This is a role with real variety. Youll deliver 1:1 interventions in community spaces, offer advice and emotional health assessments, and work closely with families, schools, and local services to make sure no one slips through the gaps. Every interaction is a chance to make a differencewhether you're providing space for a young person to open up for the first time, helping a parent feel supported, or linking a family into services that can help them thrive. You'll also play a wider role in the systemtraining professionals, running health promotion events, and contributing to the design of resources that boost emotional wellbeing across the whole community.
