Job Description:
Bolsover District Council is seeking a highly motivated Customer Advisor with excellent customer service skills to join our dynamic Customer Services Department. The successful candidate will provide high-quality information and advice to all customers, handling enquiries, service requests, and complaints related to all Council services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service across various touchpoints (Telephone, Live Chat, Email, Face-to-face).
- Act as a customer advocate, ensuring customer satisfaction and resolution of issues.
- Provide comprehensive information and advice on Council services.
- Handle complaints and sensitive issues with professionalism and empathy.
Requirements:
- GCSE Maths and English Grade C or equivalent.
- Strong passion for customer service and a customer-focused approach.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to handle complaints and sensitive issues effectively.
- Willingness to train and develop new skills.
- Good ICT skills and adaptability to new technologies.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
