Summary
We’re currently undergoing recruitment for an Industrial Paint Spraying Operative to join our client on the Wrexham Industrial Estate.
• Monday – Thursday
• 06:00 – 16:15
• £12.21 per hour
Main roles and responsibilities:
• Mix paints and coatings to required specifications
• Operate spray guns and other equipment to apply paint evenly and consistently
• Apply primer, topcoats, and specialist coatings to components or finished products
• Inspect painted items for quality assurance and rework defects when required
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health & safety regulations
• Record paint usage and job completion data accurately
• Conduct routine maintenance on spray equipment
• Follow work instructions, technical drawings, and job cards
• Collaborate with colleagues in production to meet deadlines and optimize workflow
Skills and requirements:
• Proven experience in industrial spray painting or a similar role
• Knowledge of different paint types (e.g., solvent-based, water-based, powder coating)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or work instructions
• Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Awareness of COSHH and safe handling of hazardous materials
• Physical stamina – able to stand for long periods and lift medium-weight items
• Flexibility to work shifts or overtime if required
