The Role
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you'll support the company in managing project costs from inception through to completion. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience, work closely with experienced professionals, and progress your career in quantity surveying.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets,
• Monitor project expenditures and assist in cost control
• Support the preparation and submission of interim valuations and final accounts
• Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather data and assess work progress
• Assist in managing variations and change orders
• Help ensure compliance with contractual and financial procedures
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate project documentation
About You
• Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
• 1–2 years' experience in a similar role (internships and placements considered)
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with cost management software is a plus
• A team player with a proactive attitude and keen eye for detail
