Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CSW - Senior Social Worker / Specialist Social Worker to join our team within the Localities department. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' needs and circumstances to inform service delivery.
Develop and implement tailored support plans aimed at addressing identified needs and promoting positive outcomes.
Provide expert advice and mentorship to junior social workers and support staff within the Localities team.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure coordinated and effective support for clients.
Monitor and review client progress, adjusting service plans as necessary to respond to changing needs.
Lead case conferences and participate in professional meetings to advocate for clients and facilitate information sharing.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of casework and ensure compliance with legal and organizational standards.
Requirements
A recognized qualification in Social Work (degree or equivalent) and current professional registration with the relevant regulatory body.
Substantial experience in social work practice, preferably within a locality-based or community-focused environment.
Demonstrated expertise in assessing, planning, and delivering interventions for complex cases and diverse client groups.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with clients, families, and professionals.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex situations and develop innovative solutions.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying informed of best practices and legislative changes in social work.
Ability to work flexibly, prioritize workload, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
