What the role involves:

We are looking for someone to support our clients with companionship calls. This is a great opportunity for those who enjoy engaging in conversation and going on days out. You will be encouraging people to be independent and enjoy their hobbies and interests.

You may be taking people shopping, going for walks, attending appointments, visiting local places or completing some light domestic tasks whilst having a conversation and a brew. It is such a great way to spend the day and you will be bringing joy to some lovely people.

Qualities required and hours of work:

Our clients have requested female only companions and we will need car drivers to allow people to access the community.

You do not need to have previous experience in care as we provide full training.

The hours can vary and will be approximately 10 hours each week, between Monday and Friday, supporting 4 different clients from around 1 ½ hours to 3 hours each visit. The times can vary to suit activities and will generally be between 10am and 3pm so would suit anyone who needs to drop off and pick up children.
