Requirements:
To apply for the Teacher of History opportunity, you must hold:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject.
• Experience in teaching History at key stages 3, 4 and 5.
• Recent and relevant Continuous Professional Development (CPD).

Wrenn School is unique, we are lucky enough to be a split site school, enabling us to provide a lower and upper school site. About the History Department
The History Department at Wrenn School is dedicated to fostering a deep understanding of historical events and their impact on the modern world. At Key Stage 3, students explore a broad range of topics, from ancient civilizations to contemporary history, developing critical thinking and analytical skills. The GCSE program follows the AQA specification, covering significant periods such as the Norman Conquest, the Industrial Revolution, and the Cold War. For those pursuing A Levels, the curriculum delves into complex themes like British political history, international relations, and social change. Led by passionate educators, the department aims to inspire students to appreciate the lessons of the past and apply them to their future endeavors.

Creative Education Trust was established in 2010 to work in England’s post-industrial and coastal towns and cities. We are now a network of 17 schools educating 14,500 children and young people.
