As a Senior Occupational Therapist in this speciality you will have direct input into the assessment and treatment of Vascular and Amputee patients both pre- and post-surgery, on the inpatient unit and in patient's own homes.

Therefore, there is an essential requirement for applicants to hold a suitable driving licence and/or have a means of independently travelling to community-based sites.

You will be self motivated and aspirational, be able to clinically assess in an effective and timely manner within an acute surgical environment. Support will be provided to enhance operational management skills and the post holder will be supported to contribute to service planning, development and teaching. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, the post holders will aspire to be a role model for their team and pride themselves on delivering high quality care, motivating their team to do the same.
