Job Overview


As a Team Technician (Nights) at Britvic, you will play a crucial role in the operations function, ensuring the effective manufacturing, packaging, and distribution of our products. You will work closely with the Engineering Support Team Leaders, Team Leaders, and Shift Leaders, communicating regularly about plant performance and on-site activities. This position is based at our Beckton site, which operates 24 hours a day and produces renowned carbonated beverages such as Pepsi, 7UP, Tango, and R Whites.



Key Responsibilities


Operate and maintain associated equipment in primary and secondary areas of operation to known standards in terms of quality and efficiency.
Fully understand and operate quality control procedures as outlined in the site quality systems.
Undertake and propose improvements to, and development of, asset care routines, ensuring their completion and effectiveness.
Participate in identified problem-solving processes to perform first-line fault finding and diagnostics.
Work with the Team Leader and Engineering Support Team Leader to identify and incorporate longer-term skill development and machine modifications into site plans.
Actively engage in improvement activities utilizing the TPM framework to establish and capture learning, best practices, document control, process control, plant re-design/modifications, and engineering out of recurring problems.
Take reasonable and practical care of personal health and safety, and implement any legal or company directives regarding health and safety at work.


Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required


Practical experience working within a high-speed/FMCG manufacturing operation is essential.
Knowledge of manufacturing and HSE processes and legislation is essential.

Qualifications


Minimum 2 GCSEs A – C or demonstrable ability to interpret technical information is essential.
HACCP/ISO/COSHH knowledge is desirable.


Shift Pattern


Permanent Nights: Monday – Thursday, 10 pm – 6 am, Friday 8 pm – 3 am!
