Senior Care Assistant Days
Location: Chorley, Lancashire
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.85 per hour + Paid Breaks + Overtime paid at £15.35 per hour
Annual Salary: £30,248.40
Hours: 8am – 8pm, two-week rolling rota:
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

P4 Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Senior Care Assistants to join a new Care home in Chorley. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and mentor a team while delivering exceptional, person-centred care to our residents.
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will:
Be a visible role model, mentoring and guiding Care Assistants with compassion and confidence.
Take responsibility for the wellbeing of residents, promoting independence, dignity, and meaningful daily experiences.
Administer medication safely using our electronic system and ensure accurate records, including the management of controlled drugs.
Liaise confidently with healthcare professionals and families, maintaining open and supportive relationships.
Monitor residents’ health, escalate concerns, and adjust care plans and risk assessments to reflect changing needs.
Maintain high standards of care through regular supervision, training support, and quality assurance practices.
Support the induction and development of new team members, creating a culture of continuous learning.
Ensure compliance with CQC standards, health & safety legislation, and company policies at all times.
Experience and Qualifications:
Proven experience in elderly and dementia care environments.
Demonstrated commitment to person-centred, high-quality care.
NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is essential.
