Summary
A wonderful family based in Hampstead, London is looking for a Full-time Nanny to help them in looking after their two charming toddlers, school-aged child and a newborn baby due in October 2025. They are looking for someone experienced, caring and easy going who has a basic understanding of child development. The family has a cleaner and a gardener, so the nanny is only required to do light housekeeping for the children. The nanny will also be expected to cook and prepare healthy meals for the whole family. It would be ideal if the nanny is flexible to join them for 3 to 4 weeks per year when they travel around Europe. The family has a dog and a puppy, which require some pet care support and so someone pet-friendly is ideal for this role. A driver who holds a full driving license will be required for this position.
Someone who could speak the French language is ideal however they can consider English-speaking candidates. A valid first aid qualification is essential for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 10:30 am to 6:30 pm, approximately 40 hours per week
Duties include:
Safely transport the children from school, which is a 20-minute drive from home
Changing nappies and preparing bottles of milk for the babies
Washing and bathing the children
Engage in age-appropriate activities and plan enriching experiences to promote the children's development and interests
Provide homework support, focusing on phonics and mathematics, to ensure they excel academically
Offer full-time care and supervision during school holidays, creating an engaging and enjoyable environment for the children
Maintain a safe and secure environment at all times, implementing necessary precautions and guidelines
Foster positive behaviour, encourage independence, and promote personal growth in the children
Maintain open and effective communication with the parents, providing updates on the children's well-being and progress
Supervising the children during every meal, providing healthy meals and snacks, and cooking for the whole family
Light housekeeping related to the children
They are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
