Summary
Solo Service Group are recruiting a cleaning operative to join our team on a part time, permanent basis at South Molton Police Station, New Road, South Molton, Devon. EX36 2BH
We are looking for reliable and diligent individuals to join our team, we will provide all the necessary training, therefore we need you to bring the drive and commitment to support the collective success of the team.
5 hours on a weekly basis
2.5 hours per shift - Tuesday & Friday
09:00-11:300am (can be flexible on times - to be discussed at interview stage)
Due to the nature of this role the successful applicant will be required to undertake police vetting and must have been a resident in the UK for 3 years or more.
Minimum wage applies
Your main aim will be to carry out a range of cleaning activities including mopping, sweeping, dusting, emptying bins, washroom and general cleaning.
You will also:
• Ensure that all areas are cleaned to the highest standards at all times
• Maintain Health and Safety standards at all times.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly
• Deal with any customer requests promptly and courteously
To succeed in this role you will need:
• Good attention to detail
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and use initiative, while being part of a team
• To be reliable and responsible with a flexible approach to work
• Cleaning experience is preferred but full training will be provided if necessary
