Summary
The postholder:- Records all personally generated clinical observations and test results accurately on patientmanagement system in a format that is comprehendible to other Audiologists. Ensure supervising audiologist is made aware of any potential risks affecting patient care. Makes day to day planning to prioritise general duties e.g. stock refills, sending moulds oraids to manufactures. Participate in stock control and ordering. Works on own and uses initiative based on prior training when acting on changing patientinformation and test results in order to make changes to patient care. Access to SeniorAudiologist is available if further expertise is required. Be aware of barriers to communication e.g learning disabilities, hearing impaired and whenEnglish is not the first language and overcome these barriers effectively. Ensure patient is fully informed of clinical procedures Manage professionally any potential disputes/complaints that may present from abusivepatients, relatives or carers, refer to a senior member of staff if necessary.
