Who we are
Plus Dane provides homes and services to over 30,000 people across Merseyside and Cheshire. Our aim is to tackle social inequality by enabling individuals and communities to thrive and our customer team is at the heart of what we do.
Working with our customers really does change people’s lives and if you want to make a difference Plus Dane is the place to be!
We live by our values of working together, achieving for our customers, taking ownership, and having the opportunity to learn and grow.
What we’re looking for from you to join our team
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Tenancy Management Team in Liverpool, supporting our customers by managing and maintaining tenancies within our rented stock.
Your focus will be on providing an effective and high-quality tenancy management service to our customers. Working towards key performance targets and the delivery of the organisation’s corporate objectives, you will be a key contact in delivering a service to manage, address and resolve tenancy issues.
Our ambition is to tackle social inequality by enabling individuals and communities to thrive, and you will contribute towards this by ensuring tenancies are sustained and customers are supported to independently meet their tenancy obligations, building key relationships with partner organisations to deliver and signpost relevant services.
We are looking for a customer focussed person with experience of working in a customer facing environment. This role can be busy and demanding, therefore it is essential that you are resilient, have first class organisation skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and negotiate are also required.
Preferably candidates should have a knowledge of Housing Law and experience of managing tenancies in challenging neighbourhoods, but more importantly, you’ll have the personal qualities, drive and passion to make a difference in our neighbourhoods.
What you’ll get in return
We offer hybrid working which means working a 7-hour day between 09:00am - 17:00pm (Monday – Friday) in the office and from home.
You will be generously rewarded with a competitive salary and great benefits, including a cash healthcare plan, employee assistance programme and generous shopping discounts. We also have a competitive company pension scheme, where we contribute 9% and our colleagues can contribute anything from 3% upwards.
From the moment you join you have 35 days holiday plus bank holidays, including the days between Christmas and New Year. This is part of our commitment to our peoples’ wellbeing, which is recognised through our accreditation by the Wellbeing Charter and supported by an excellent management team and colleagues, including wellbeing champions and mental health first aiders.
We actively encourage personal development and there are plenty of opportunities to progress your career as you join the team that has a career path to many other parts of our organisation. We also offer ongoing training in a variety of areas including formal qualifications.
