Are you a highly skilled and passionate Art Teacher seeking a rewarding opportunity to inspire young minds?

We are seeking experienced and dedicated Art Teachers to join the team at a variety of thriving secondary schools across Sussex. This is an exceptional opportunity for accomplished teachers to make a significant contribution to a vibrant and engaging learning environment.

About the Role:

  • You will be responsible for planning and delivering inspiring and effective Art lessons across Key Stage 3 and GCSE, with the potential for A-Level teaching depending on your qualifications and experience.
  • You will create a stimulating studio environment that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and a lifelong appreciation for art.
  • You will collaborate with a supportive team of art educators, sharing best practices and contributing to departmental initiatives.
  • You will have the opportunity to contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and potentially leading art clubs or projects.


What We're Looking For:

  • A qualified Art Teacher (QTS) with a proven track record of successful teaching in UK secondary schools. Significant experience is essential.
  • A deep passion for art and a commitment to fostering students' artistic potential.
  • A strong understanding of current art education best practices and curriculum requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and supportive approach.
  • A willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities.
