We are working with a network of well-established secondary schools across Coventry to recruit enthusiastic and motivated Geography ECTs for a September 2025 start. Geography ECT – What You’ll Be Doing:
• Teaching Geography across KS3, KS4, and KS5 in a dynamic classroom setting
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons covering human, physical, and environmental topics
• Encouraging critical thinking, enquiry, and a global perspective in students
• Supporting a diverse range of learners through inclusive teaching practices
• Monitoring student progress, providing effective feedback, and adapting lessons accordingly
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters curiosity and confidence
• Collaborating with colleagues to enrich the Geography curriculum across schools
• Inspiring students to consider future study or careers in Geography, sustainability, and related fields
Geography ECT – What We’re Looking For:
• A qualified teacher with QTS, or an ECT with experience teaching Geography
• A degree in Geography or a closely related subject
• A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and helping students explore the world
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging, accessible lessons
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• A creative, reflective, and student-centred approach to teaching
• A team player with a proactive attitude and commitment to professional growth
