We are seeking to appoint a SEND Teaching Assistant

Rothwell Victoria School is seeking a compassionate and experienced SEND teaching assistant We want all pupils to achieve their maximum potential within a calm, positive atmosphere where children can feel safe, healthy, happy, confident and motivated.

This rewarding role will involve working closely with the class teacher and our SENDCo to implement individualised learning plans and to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for a pupil with SEMH needs. The successful candidate will be caring, extremely motivated and enthusiastic, with the energy required to join our hardworking team.

The role involves working under the guidance of teaching/senior staff and within an agreed system of supervision, to implement agreed work programmes with individual groups, in or out of the classroom. The vacancy is for a full time (27.5 hours per week), term time position.
