Summary
Job Title: Technician (Food Technology)
Actual Annual Salary: £4,722 - £5,706
Full Time Equivalent Salary: £25,136 - £27,398 (CLF Grade B). Based on 37 hours per week.
Contract Type: Term time only (plus INSET days)
Contract Length: Fixed Term until 31st August 2025 or return of the postholder.
Hours: Part-time, 9 hours per week Monday to Friday
We are seeking a highly organised individual with the ability to provide excellent technical support within our Food Technology Department. You'll join a team with a fresh perspective on practical education and have the chance to influence how this is delivered across our academy.
About you:
You will have:
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment.
Strong relationship-building skills, able to proactively engage with key stakeholders to meet the technical and practical needs of the department.
Experience in providing technical and practical support, with the ability to manage a range of different daily tasks, ensuring all health and safety regulations and guidelines are adhered to.
A passion for supporting excellent teaching and learning through the provision of high-quality resources and technical assistance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to effectively and professionally communicate with staff, students, and external bodies.
