As Deputy Manager, you’ll play a key role in daily operations, team leadership, and ensuring the highest standards of care and education. You’ll work closely with the Nursery Manager to foster a nurturing environment for both children and staff while supporting key areas such as compliance, curriculum implementation, and family engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Support
• Assist in leading, mentoring, and supporting the nursery team
• Foster a collaborative and positive working environment
• Support recruitment, induction, and staff development
Operational Excellence
• Maintain high standards of care, education, and safety
• Help oversee the implementation of the EYFS curriculum
• Assist with daily operational and compliance tasks
Financial & Administrative Support
• Assist in fee management, budget monitoring, and invoicing
• Track performance against agreed targets and nursery goals
Family & Community Engagement
• Build and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers
• Ensure families feel informed, involved, and valued
Culture & Values
• Lead by example, promoting a supportive and positive work culture
• Encourage staff wellbeing and professional development

The Ideal Candidate:
• Level 3 or above in Early Years
• Experienced Room Leader or Deputy Manager ready for a step up
