What You’ll Be Doing as a Primary ECT:
• Teaching and supporting children in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, depending on your placement
• Planning and delivering engaging, interactive lessons that foster a love for learning
• Helping children develop essential literacy, numeracy, and social skills in a supportive environment
• Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing feedback, and adapting lessons as necessary
• Creating an inclusive, positive learning atmosphere that promotes curiosity and confidence
• Collaborating with fellow teachers and staff to deliver an engaging and effective curriculum
• Building strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure the best learning outcomes
What We’re Looking For:
• A qualified teacher with QTS, or an ECT with experience in a primary school setting
• A degree in Primary Education or a related field
• A genuine passion for teaching and helping young children succeed
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students
• A creative approach to teaching, with the ability to adapt lessons to meet the needs of all students
• A proactive attitude and eagerness to collaborate with colleagues and continue developing your teaching practice
