Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant – What You’ll Be Doing:
• Assisting with maths lessons across a variety of topics, such as algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics
• Supporting the planning and delivery of lessons alongside teachers
• Providing 1:1 or small group support to students who need extra help with mathematical concepts
• Helping students improve problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
• Engaging students in maths through interactive and enjoyable learning activities
• Assisting teachers in maintaining a positive classroom environment
• Promoting student confidence and enthusiasm for tackling maths challenges
• Supporting the assessment and tracking of student progress in maths
Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:
• A 2:1 degree or higher in Mathematics or a related STEM field
• A passion for mathematics education and the desire to inspire students
• Previous experience in an educational setting is beneficial but not essential
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex mathematical concepts clearly
