Vacancy –Electrical Support Technician (Office Based)

ESS Employment Ltd are recruiting for an exciting opportunity on behalf of an established international client. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Office Administration, Sales Support and Accounting Department. This role offers scope for future progression to a UK Technical Service Manager.

The role:
• Handling technical queries over the phone to assist engineers
• Organising and selecting spare parts for specialist equipment
• Liaising with Sales, Engineering, Customer Service and the European Head Office
Technical Credibility & Interventions
• Be technically credible with clients.
Intervention management :
• Monitor techniciens' service calls.
• Ensure work completion is recorded in ATEN.
• Prepare and plan follow-up actions.
• Schedule interventions and make decisions when needed.
Subcontractor management :
• Select, monitor, and evaluate subcontractors.
Training Organisation
Organise technical training sessions for technicians and subcontractors:
• At the factory.
• In Bristol.
• At the clients site.
Bristol Operations Management
• Manage the SAT workshop: responsible for the workshop and spare parts.
• Oversee demo and courtesy machines, ensuring they are in working condition.
Technical Call Management
• Keep records of calls.
Maintenance Contracts Management
• Ensure the quality of on-site work.
• Oversee ATEN system operation for contracts (managed by assistants).
Future Responsabilités
• Support service sales development (contracts & spare parts) – client outreach to secure maintenance contracts.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Ensure the technical team works effectively with other departments (Sales, Engineering, Customer Service) within the subsidiary company.
• Ensure the technical service complies with local laws, regulations, and internal company policies.
The candidate:
Electrical or Refrigeration Engineer
• Looking for an office-based role
• Charismatic.
• French speaking would be an advantage.
