The role
As a Digital Engineer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary where you'll have an excellent opportunity to play an active role in shaping the team strategy and development plan to ensure the team are at the forefront of digital engineering delivery.

Day-to-day, you'll be focused on project delivery, providing Digital Engineering CAD support including the following:-

  • Configuration and ongoing support of the CAD software for major projects
  • Support of users in best practice and model management
  • Management of data across multiple disciplines, involving audits, quality checks and model take-offs
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Software upgrades or testing of new applications as required
  • Production and maintenance of project and overarching function procedures

This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with a minimum of 2 days in the office/onsite.

Essential experience of the Digital Engineer

  • Mechanical Design/Engineering
  • Experienced in Autodesk Inventor & Vault
  • Experienced in delivering/managing 3D CAD model & data, and CAD standards
  • Problem solving & innovative mindset

Qualifications for the Digital Engineer

  • BTEC National Diploma or higher in Engineering or equivalent experience

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
