Summary
A wonderful family based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, Tyne & Wear is looking for a Live in Nanny-Housekeeper to help them in looking after their two school-aged children while maintaining the cleanliness of their property. The nanny-housekeeper will be calm and patient but have the energy to keep up with the children and take charge of housekeeping tasks related to them. The candidate will also be expected to cook and prepare basic meals for the children and sometimes for the whole family. The family has a dog at home so someone pet-friendly is ideal for this role. The nanny-housekeeper must be comfortable joining them when they take international trips. A driver who holds a full driving license is required and a car can be provided.
A valid first aid qualification is essential for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00/7:00 pm, approximately 45 hours per week plus one night of babysitting a week
Accommodation: Own flat, the family will rent something near their house for the right candidate with lots of privacy and comfort.
Duties include:
School runs mostly, taking the children to after-school clubs
Helping with homework
Ironing and laundry
Dusting and polishing
Make up beds and change linens
Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming
Deep cleaning bathrooms and kitchen
Loading and unloading the dishwasher
Maintaining an exceptionally clean environment
Polished silverware and marble
