Summary

Are you passionate about keeping the New Forests streets clean?

We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic, dedicated and takes pride in delivering high quality services for the resident’s, business, and tourists of the New Forest.

Key duties will include carrying out driving and operating mechanical road sweeper, other duties may include planned and additional works collection of fly-tipped waste, servicing of bins and other duties related to the Street scene service as required. Weekend work required on a rota.

You will be based out of Ringwood Depot, however there is a requirement to work across all the operational depots across the district including Marsh Lane depot in Lymington and Hardley Depot in Hardley.

About you:

You will have experience in working in a similar role
Have a keen eye for detail and enjoy driving & operating equipment
Hold a full driving license up to 7.5Tonne & CPC
Ability to drive mechanical sweepers is desirable (Full training provided to the successful applicant)
Mechanical minded to maintain equipment daily as required
Skill and ability to prioritise proactive and reactive workloads to meet deadlines
Ability to work to relevant health & safety
