Summary
We are seeking a Facilities Support Specialist- Site Focal to join our UK and Ireland team. This is a key role in a high profile, strategic Boeing facility and will lead on the following activities:
-Operations management and compliance, business support services and multiple delegated business activities such as Facilities & Asset Management, Finance & Business, Security & Fire Protection and Indirect Supply Chain
-Develops and sustains mutually beneficial with business partners, stakeholders and peers
-Investigates and provides guidance for employees on complex issues or concerns
Manages facility operations, property planning and project administration, and facilities provisioning
-Responsible for site/entity compliance with local laws, Boeing policies and procedures, develops and manages the operating budget
-Leads teams to design, develop and implement organisational policies, programs, processes and procedures for the purpose of safeguarding people, property, information and the environment while ensuring compliance with applicable government and company security and fire regulations (e.g., business preparedness, evacuation plan and crisis management, secure badge renewals)
-Monitors and partners with the procurement agent at the local site to manage the vendor activity (i.e. negotiations, vendor performance)
