As Deployment Manager you will lead a team to provide resource allocation to enable the delivery of high quality, value for money testing services throughout the testing facilities network.

You will develop high performing support teams to enable achievement of strategic goals. Work collaboratively with Operations / Vehicle Testing management teams to fulfil national testing requirements now and in the future

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Determine and plan team requirements, including allocating resources and prioritising activities, over the short to medium term by fully understanding the business environment in which the team operates, the overall team objectives, ensuring their team fully understands and works to these requirements.
  • Develop and maintain an engaged, cohesive team culture, keep connected with the team through regular 121, team briefings / meetings.
  • Work with operational testing management team to understand changes to testing network and resolve Testing resourcing / deployment issues over the short / medium term (0-6 months).
  • Drive to embed DVSA cultural aspirations – respectful, valued, enabled, together and ready for the future – are applied to everyday work.
