We are looking for a high performing project delivery professional with experience of delivering digital products and services in line with Government Digital Service (GDS) standards. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management and leadership of the Connectivity Tool project. You will be a senior member of the project team, working with data analysts, planning policy professionals, suppliers and digital to ensure effective project delivery in a fast-paced environment.

We aim to empower line managers to create teams where people can flourish and deliver excellent outcomes for the public.
Responsibilities
Include, but not limited to:
- Leadership: Building and leading an inclusive multi-disciplinary team, ensuring that they are motivated and organised around the development of the Connectivity Tool
- Delivery management: overseeing delivery using project management tools and techniques including but not limited to change control, stakeholder mapping and engagement, applying the right tools at the appropriate lifecycle phase
- Responsible for commercial management to get good value out of contracts and suppliers
- Planning and Scheduling: Develop and manage project plans, outlining key milestones, timelines, and resource requirements for the project. Ensure that progress is tracked and that any delays or risks are escalated appropriately
- Governance and Reporting: Manage the development and maintenance of governance processes including the preparation of progress reports for senior management and key stakeholders
- Develop strong working relationships with DfT’s digital teams and across government to ensure effective joint working
- Leading teams through the Agile delivery lifecycle and Government Digital Service Standard Assessments
- Line management of two project team members
