Summary
4x 8am - 2pm shifts
Responsibilities:
Preparation and cooking of food for the day
Keeping all work surfaces clean and tidy
Washing all pots, pans etc
Washing floor after the day's meals
Defrosting and claening freezers and fridges
Preparation of afternoon beverage trolley
Clean daily - oven, cooker, grill, microwave, dishwasher and hot plate
Weekly cleaning of deep fat fryer
Cleaning of food stores before putting new stock away
Cleaning of walls every two weeks
Cleaning of window frames once a week
You will work as a member of a team and this may involve you in duties other than those for which you are primarily employed. Amongst other things we will expect you to:
Work efficiently, conscientiously and safely, maintaining our high standards of care and services
Be patient, gentle and courteous to residents and members of their familes
Carry out all reasonable duties and instructions
Report any hazards of dangerous events and suspected or observed mistreatmentof residents by others
Care for property belonging to the home and residents
Be confidential about the home, its staff and residents
