Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Online Sales Assistant to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and processing online orders, maintaining product listings, handling customer service enquiries, and ensuring timely communication with suppliers and couriers.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, process, and dispatch online orders from our website and other marketplaces.
Liaise with Royal Mail and other couriers to schedule shipments and collections.
Respond to customer enquiries by email and phone in a timely and professional manner.
Manage product returns, replacements, and refunds while keeping accurate records.
Monitor stock levels and order stock from suppliers as required.
Update product pricing and ensure listings are accurate and optimised for visibility.
Handle supplier queries regarding damaged or missing items, as well as warranty claims.
Requirements:
Previous experience in e-commerce, online sales, or a customer service environment.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and e-commerce platforms (e.g., eBay, Amazon, Shopify, WooCommerce).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Desirable Skills:
Experience using inventory management and courier booking systems.
Knowledge of SEO and digital product listing optimisation.
Familiarity with handling international shipping and customs procedures.
