Summary
We are looking for an organised, self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills and attention to detail. The ability to develop excellent working relationships with colleagues across the University and with our external stakeholders is also essential.
The ability to communicate fluently in Welsh on a work-related matter and the ability to confidently write Welsh material is essential for this position.
This is a part-time role (0.8 FTE/29.6 hours) covering a period of maternity leave for up to 12 months. We will also consider applications for a secondment.
Based at Pontypridd, with some home working, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol and with other higher education institutions in Wales. The University is currently operating a hybrid model of working. However, the successful candidate would be expected to work on campus for part of the week, and to travel to the University’s other campuses as part of this role.
If you are a successful candidate and this position will be your first professional services role at the University (or you are currently employed by PSS Ltd), you will be employed by Professional and Support Services Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of South Wales, which provides services to the University and Colleges.
