About the Role
In this role as a Finance Manager, your focus will be on our P&L and Balance Sheet activities.
Reporting to the Head of Accounting & Treasury, you will play a key part in our transition to a new, country-wide Financial Accounting team, driving change and simplifying our financial processes.
You will lead and develop a team of six direct reports responsible for month-end management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
Your varied duties include:
Managing the month-end close for four business units, including drafting management accounts for the Head of Accounting & Treasury
Full Balance Sheet management for all UK entities (currently three)
Monthly balance sheet reporting and developing quarterly review meetings with senior finance stakeholders
Balance sheet budgeting and forecasting
Cash and liquidity forecasting
Managing Treasury processes
Occasional nationwide travel is required. We offer hybrid working arrangements (typically 2 days homeworking per week).
Hours of work: 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
About you…
You will be an established finance manager with strong knowledge and experience in management accounts, particularly balance sheet reconciliations.
You will have experience leading, training, and coaching direct reports, with a track record of meeting deadlines.
You will also have:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification
Project management experience would be beneficial
SAP experience would be beneficial
