Summary
Dispensing a range of prescription types safely and accurately whilst following procedures including travel medication and private prescriptions Taking in / handing out prescriptions, completing exemptions, and where appropriate processing payments and counselling patients End of month prescription processes Identifying any errors or near misses and escalating to the appropriate management level Stock control, date checking, cleaning, ordering, receiving and rotating stock Destroying out of date medication Recording fridge temperatures To be able to use our computer systems confidently (SystmOne/Titan) Processing prescription requests and actioning and responding to patient queries Handling patient communications including the telephone and SMS Flexibility in working overtime and covering sickness Maintain your own professional development
