Advertisement Details
The post holder is responsible through the Director of Children’s Service, the Executive Manager Education and Learning and the Project Board for undertaking a range of activities timeously contributing to the successful completion of the project. The post holder is responsible for leading and developing on the aims and objectives of the proposed project. The post holder will also undertake research and analysis activities to support the overall management of the project including service development and improvements.
The post holder will work with colleagues across the Council, the Health Board and other partner agencies and stakeholders locally and nationally as required to achieve the project objectives.

- The grade of this post is J
- Salary shown in the advert is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance of £2,859 per annum
- Temporary Full Time post for 37.0 Hours per Week , 52.18 weeks per year
- Preferred candidates will be required to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update prior to a formal offer of employment being made
- A relocation package does not apply to this post
- We will pay interview expenses from within Shetland
- You must have the ability to travel throughout Shetland at short notice and where public transport is limited
