Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in home care settings, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, implementing care plans, and fostering a supportive environment for our clients.

Duties
Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Support clients with mobility and physical activities to enhance their independence.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
Implement care plans as directed by healthcare professionals, ensuring that each client's individual requirements are met.
Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in health or behaviour to the appropriate personnel.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting their mental well-being.
Assist with meal preparation and feeding when necessary, ensuring dietary needs are met.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by following health and safety protocols.
Qualifications
Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with clients and team members.
Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
A valid driving licence is essential for those providing home care services.
Basic IT skills are beneficial for maintaining client records and communication.
Ability to understand and implement care plans tailored to individual client needs.
Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others in need.
