An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Lecturer in Travel and Aviation to join our Sports, Travel & Public Services team. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the next generation of Travel & Tourism professionals while playing a key role in a thriving academic community.



What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Lecturer in Travel and Aviation, you will:

Deliver and manage high-quality, inclusive teaching, learning, and assessment within the Travel & Public Services sector.

Provide both practical and theoretical instruction in specialist areas of Travel & Tourism.

Support students’ academic and personal development, enabling them to reach their full potential.

Design and implement lesson plans that bridge classroom learning with real-world applications.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience and meet the diverse needs of students.

Assist with student recruitment, retention, achievement, and progression, offering tailored guidance and support.



What We’re Looking For:

We seek candidates who:

Are qualified teachers or are willing to work towards achieving qualified status.

Hold a relevant degree or an equivalent qualification.

Have GCSEs in English and Maths at Grade C / Level 4 or above, or an equivalent standard.

Possess current knowledge and/or experience of teaching in Travel and Aviation.

Are aware of potential issues in Travel and Aviation that may impact curriculum delivery.

Have up-to-date knowledge and/or experience of career opportunities in Travel and Aviation for 16–18 and 19+ learners.
