Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

Steeple Bumpstead Primary School is a very friendly one-form entry village primary school close to Haverhill with 185 children on roll. This is an opportunity to join us from September 2025 as a SENCO and member of our senior leadership team working 2 days a week. There is flexibility in which days these are.

• Has a wide range of experience and knowledge of SEND
• is passionate about supporting inclusion and providing the best possible provision for children with special educational needs and disabilities
• has the skills and knowledge to support others effectively • has excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
• has the SENDCO qualification or is willing to undertake the training to achieve this

Further details about the role

This will be non-teaching role.

Contract: Part time, permanent (0.4 FTE, 10 hours per week, 52 weeks per year)

Salary: MPR 1 - UPR 3 (FTE: £31,650 - £49,084 / Actual: £12,660 - £19,633 per annum) plus SEN allowance £2,679 per annum pro rata.
