Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

Full time (QTS and experience of Leadership required)

We require a deputy head our outstanding special school to start from September (or earlier if available for induction and training).

We are looking for a deputy head to oversee our expanding secondary provision and to work with the wider senior leadership team.

Northway is split across multiplesites;Primary sites = Rec & KS1Mill Hill NW7 3HS and KS2High Barnet EN5 2BY. Secondary site in Mill Hill NW7 2BU (opening September 2025)

We are looking for a deputy head that:

• · Has strong leadership experience, ideally in a SEND environment.
• · Is dedicated to the welfare, safeguarding and progress of every child
• · Is committed to providing outstanding learning experiences for all pupils; to lead, develop and build on the Northway curriculum to ensure a broad balanced curriculum for all pupils.
• · Is able to lead in a fast paced environment, to remain calm and supportive under pressure.
• Is passionate, creative and have excellent communication skills
• · To work with the rest of the leadership team to lead, develop and improve the school in all areas.
