Family Link Worker: Primary Phase Employer: Holymead Primary School Location: Brislington, Bristol Contract: Full time (part time and flexible working will be considered) Hours: Monday to Friday (part time and flexible working will be considered) Salary: BG9 (£31,067 - £33,366 FTE or £16.10-£17.29 per hour) to B10 (£34,314 - £37,938 FTE or £17.79-£19.66 per hour) (depending upon experience) Closing Date: Wednesday 14th May 2025Holymead Primary School is a three form entry school at the heart of its community in Brislington, South Bristol. The successful applicant will take overall direction from the Deputy Headteacher(s) and SENDCO(s). This role involves being an integral member of the Safeguarding Team and supporting our most vulnerable pupils and families.
The ideal candidate will: • Be emotionally and physically resilient • Be empathetic and emotionally intelligent • Be able to support and challenge the pupils and families they work with • Be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team • Be flexible and adaptable in their working day • Have the ability to manage pupil behaviour Experience and qualifications: • Have experience of multi-agency work • Have experience of working at HLTA level or above • Have experience of working with children with special needs • Have experience of supporting and delivering learning activities in an educational setting • Have experience and knowledge of safeguarding practices (preferably in an educational setting) • Have knowledge and experience of supporting pupils and families with Social Emotional and Mental Health Needs • Have experience of networking with outside agencies and signposting support effectively
