Summary
Visiting Lecturer – Visual Arts Project & Independent Living
Contract: Term time consultancy
Salary: Negotiable
Role Summary
Guide students through the Visual Arts Project (painting, sculpture, mixed media) and deliver Independent Living 1 workshops (cooking basics, budgeting, personal self care).
Key Responsibilities
• Lead practical art workshops, adapting techniques for all abilities.
• Teach Independent Living skills through experiential activities.
• Set up materials, maintain safety in studios and kitchens.
• Evaluate learner outcomes and feed into Bronze Stage review.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
• Degree or professional qualification in Art & Design or Life Skills Education.
• SEND teaching/TA experience.
• Strong workshop management and risk assessment skills.
