Specialized Security are a leading provider of security, stewarding and crowd management services playing a key part in events such as Isle of Wight Festival, Glastonbury, Wireless and Reading Festival. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team, make friends, earn money and start a career at major events this summer.
We are currently looking for SIA Licenced Event Security from across the country to play a key part in supporting our events from May until September. We are also looking for staff to join our team for work in Scotland who may not want to work away from home.
Key Skills:
• Aged 18+
• Fluent in English
• Hold a Valid SIA Licence for Door Supervision or Close Protection
• Fantastic Customer Service
• Problem Solving
• Great Communication Skills
• Ability to remain calm
• Ability to work as part of a team, and individually
• Ability to work long hours, as event shifts are usually 12 hours+
• Ability to stay and work away from home for up to 3 weeks at a time, if applicable
These are some of the essential skills we look for in our staff, but we’re open to hear from applicants who are just starting their careers. We offer training and development opportunities, and this is a great way to gain a new perspective at fantastic UK festivals.
Pay ranges from £13.68 to £17.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. All staff stay in a dedicated camping compound on-site, with access to our own toilets, showers and catering facilities. We provide travel to and from pick-up points in Central Scotland, event-day uniforms and meals when on shift.
