Job Title: Box Office Ticket Seller
Location:Glasgow City Centre
Job Type: Part-Time
Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Box Office Ticket Seller to join our team at Tickets Scotland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while selling tickets for concerts and events. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to handle cash transactions accurately, and a passion for live music and entertainment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly and assist them with purchasing tickets for concerts and events.
Provide information about event schedules, seating options, and ticket prices.
Process cash, credit card, and digital payments accurately and efficiently.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any ticket-related issues or concerns.
Maintain a clean and organized box office area.
Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately in the ticketing system.
Assist with will-call ticket distribution and manage guest lists.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient ticketing process.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in customer service or sales, preferably in a box office or similar environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle cash and electronic transactions accurately.
Proficiency with computer systems and ticketing software.
Computer Skills, excel, Power point,
Posting events on Social Media
Adding new events on the web site
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings ( Box Office assistant at various venues ) weekends, and holidays.
Passion for live music and entertainment.
Friendly and dynamic work environment.
