About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Freelance Laravel Developer to join our remote team on a contract basis. You will be responsible for developing backend logic, building APIs, and implementing front-end. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with Laravel Blade templates, HTML, CSS, and integrating payment gateways like Stripe and PayPal.
This is a fully remote position, perfect for a self-motivated developer who thrives in an independent work environment and values clean, scalable code.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications, backend, API and front-end using Laravel (PHP)
Build and consume RESTful APIs for mobile/web integration
Work with Laravel Blade templates, HTML, and CSS to create dynamic front-ends
Integrate and manage payment gateways (Stripe and PayPal)
Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance
Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders (remotely)
Requirements
Strong experience with Laravel (v8 or later)
Proficient in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
Solid experience in using Laravel Blade templating engine
Experience with REST API development and integration
Demonstrated experience with Stripe and PayPal integration
Familiarity with Git version control and modern development workflows
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Experience with frontend frameworks like Vue.js or React
Knowledge of Laravel Livewire or Inertia.js
Previous freelance or remote work experience
Understanding of security best practices in Laravel
