At Burlington, we look after elderly people, many of whom have a dementia. We believe that qualities rather than qualifications make the best care staff, so the attributes we are looking for are:

DUTIES: Key Tasks may vary but will include
Report both verbally and in writing on service users general condition and well being
Maintain a clean and safe environment for service users and staff
Assist Seniors in maintaining records and Care plans on each shift
Make beds and use pressure aids as directed
Assist in the collection of specimens and samples
Act as a chaperone for medical and professional staff as required
Assist service users in maintaining their personal hygiene, dressing and going to bed
Report accidents and incidents to the senior member of staff on duty
When on shift you are part of the team complement and as such are required to help and assist with all aspects of resident’s care.

We care passionately about the people living here and so applicants must want to make a difference to the resident's lives each and every day.
We have day shifts available (mixture of shifts a week equating to 16.5 or 35.75 hours) which include a mixture of early and late shifts, or long day shifts (Three 12 hour shifts per week equating to 33 hours per week) depending on your preference. This includes every other weekend with the opportunity to do overtime with excellent incentive pay on all overtime.
We also have night shifts available. Please state if you are applying for the day or night post.
Qualifications Required: currently holding NVQ level 2 (Adult) or equivalent or willing to work towards the qualification.
